These are still images / outtakes from albedo, a short experimental narrative video piece filmed in the Arctic, Death Valley and the Great Basin. A climate refugee from an apocalyptic future wanders a desert, reflecting on her past and present, while hallucinating images of a non-existent winter, memories from a sailor on a ship taking advantage of the quickly melting ice that opened up the Arctic many years before. This project is currently in post production.
